What to Expect

During our social media marketing appointment, I will come prepared with questions, ideas, and information based on what info you provide me in the intake form. I am experienced and trained in the entire ecosystem of social media marketing. If you’re not sure what that looks like, I’ve created an extensive list below of topics we can cover during our time together.

Areas of Expertise

Appointments are not limited to these topics, but they are common themes I have worked on with other clients before. Additionally, not all of these topics can be discussed in one session. There is simply too much curriculum to squeeze into 30 minutes in a productive and meaningful way.

My recommendation is to pick your top areas of interest and include them in your intake form. That way, we can prioritize those topics during your appointment.

Why Kayla?

I became an award-winning graphic design professional when I was 14. That was only the beginning. I became an award-winning filmmaker at 20. That’s when the true power of communication through the visual arts set into my bones.

In 2021, I started posting cat content online to bring smiles to the world during a time of immense loss and uncertainty— thanks, COVID. Since that time, I have grown my community to 1 million followers across six platforms and have amassed more than 155 million views.

In 2023, my CatVana marketing campaign made global headlines and created a buzz so large that it actually captured the attention of Carvana itself. That campaign was part of the volunteer work I did for the non-profit cat rescue, Pippi’s Place Pet Rescue. Carvana ended up inviting the rescue’s founder and me to their Atlanta headquarters where they surprised us with cat supplies and a giant $4,000 check.

I don’t find success. I make it.

  • I graduated from Georgia College and State University with a BA in Strategic Communication with a concentration in advertising and public relations.

During my studies, I took part in mock and real advertising campaigns, fundraising efforts, and PR crisis simulations.

I was also elected to be the university’s president and executive producer of their film production studio.

  • I have worked my way to internet-fame with my hands in the dirt, sweat on my brow, and determination in my heart.

Growing my one-million-person empire from the ground-up has given me the opportunity to make mistakes, experience the self-doubt, and see first-hand how much patience it takes to successfully reach your target audience.

I’ve made the mistakes, and now I’m here to share my wisdom so you don’t have to do the same.

  • When faced with an obstacle, I don’t think outside the box. I take the box apart and build a castle.

Sometimes being autistic and thinking differently than others is a hinderance. However, that is not the case with social media marketing.

Share your goals with me and instead of using the marketing part of my brain to come up with ideas, my entire brain constructs ideas that go beyond the “box” of marketing. Let’s build a castle together.
