Feline Feature: Tinkertoy & Lincoln Log

We’ve got fosters!

In an exciting turn of events, our house is now the foster home to two adorable kittens. Lincoln Log and Tinkertoy were surrendered to Pippi's Place Pet Rescue after being given away online.

Linc and Tink will remain in our care while they put on weight and receive all their necessary medical care. Their intake weights were 23.45oz for Tinkertoy and 24.12oz for Lincoln Log. They're on Blue Wilderness kitten pâté four times a day and are relieving themselves in the litterbox with no issues. Later this week we will start slowly introducing kibble.

Their personalities are already shining brightly. I can't tell which one is more playful because they both go bonkers. Lincoln definitely eats more than Tink, and Tink is a little more outgoing than Lincoln (but not by much!). We will be teaching them all the important kitten manners like sitting well for nail clippings, scratching on designated scratching posts, and playing roughly with toys rather than hands.

All of these things will help ensure these two boys are happy, healthy, and ready to go to a new home.

UPDATE: All Grown Up!

Lincoln Log (now “Lincoln”) and Tinkertoy (now “Sparky”) are all grown up now! They are still spoiled to bits and loving life. Their mom still sends me pictures of them periodically. I cherish every one of them!
